~John Ortberg, When the Game Is Over, It All Goes Back in the Box
Path Of Life Ministries was formed to help men get a view of God's purpose in our lives and to help anyone willing, to identify and manifest that purpose in a big way. Path Of Life Ministries' major purpose: TO BE OF SERVICE. To Spread The Word of the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

urgent prayer request
He is in his 70's and accustomed to being self-sufficient and independent.
Please pray that he listen to God's wisdom in taking good care of himself.
Thank you,
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Weekly Prayer Focus - 03/27/2011
What is a hero? A hero is someone who does something worthy for someone else, often at great cost or sacrifice to themselves.
Jesus Christ is the greatest hero of all times. He came to this earth and sacrificed Himself for the sins of the world. He gave the greatest gift His own life. He took on Himself the punishment for your sins and mine when He hung on the cross and died. He was ridiculed, and humiliated, and beaten all for us.
Sometimes for a family member, someone might give their life, or even for a very good person. But who would give their life for a criminal for one condemned to death? Yet God in His great love sent His own Son Jesus Christ to die for us, who are worthy of death because of our sins. How great is the love of God!
There is a story of a judge who was sitting in court, and one day his own son was brought before him on a charge of stealing; and his son was guilty. The judge pronounced him guilty, but then came off the bench and paid the fine himself. Jesus Christ paid our penalty for sin all we need to do is turn from our sins and receive Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord and we receive the gift of eternal life. Praise God for His great love!
So, this week, let us pray and
-
Thank God the Father for His wonderful love for us
-
Thank Jesus Christ God's Son for dying on the cross for our sins
-
Thank God the Holy Spirit for coming into our lives when we accept Christ
THANK YOU so much for your prayers. God loves you and so do we!
May God bless you!Thought for today - 03/27/2011
