SACRIFICE
Lion attacks were just one of the many dangers braved by David Livingstone to bring the Gospel to the heart of Africa. Livingstone was so much more than an explorer, he was a Scottish missionary in the nineteenth century who braved man-eating animals, hostile tribes, deadly African fever and murderous slave traders to tell Africans about the love of God in Christ Jesus. Acts 1:8 promises us: "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." The end of the earth was Livingstone's call. He took the Gospel to places where no missionary had gone before.

So what are you willing to sacrifice to be a witness in your neighborhood, your workplace or even around the world? How can you know what God wants from you? Only one way. Pick up a Bible and you'll find out. That's where you'll discover God's plan for your life.
