update on Kevin R.

Thank you, everyone, for praying for Kevin.  Here's an update.

I received this update from Sharon this afternoon.  The aneurysm was discovered this past Saturday & the docs feel that it's stable to the point that they don't need to address it right now.  The report below is an affirmation that we are truly in God's hands.  Please thank everyone for praying..........and continuing to pray for Kevin & his family.

Hey everyone -- Kevin is plowing through! No word on a brain aneurysm, so I guess it's not an issue. His medical team is planning an intensive course of therapy, and I know he will do well.

Kevin was more alert and aware yesterday and he is now at RIC - Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and has 4 therapy sessions lined up for today. That's good news.  RIC is ranked the number one rehab hospital in the country. 
 
I saw him on Sunday.  Kevin was watching football and playing card games - War and Texas Hold 'Em - and he knew how to play both games.  He responds with one or two word answers to questions. Glad to hear he's getting more alert.  There was some slight movement on his right side but I don't think it was purposeful movement which originates from the brain.
