It's Already Been Paid For!
With each issue of this newsletter we receive dozens of offers of donations to help offset the costs. Although each offer is sincerely appreciated, we decline every one of them. The reason? We are happy to pay for the costs up front so that we might offer it to you as a free gift. Before this issue reached your in-box it was already paid for. Enjoy! We hope that it continues to be a useful tool to all of you.
But, you may think, surely there must be some catch? If so, then yes, you are right - we have an ulterior motive. We want the free gift of this newsletter to be a reminder for us of the free gift of God's love and salvation through His Son Jesus. Think of these words from God in the New Testament:
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.
God loves us all. He sees us right where we are in life - right to the depth of our hearts. Just like you opened your hand to receive these mailings, so we may open our hearts and simply receive by faith the free gift of Jesus which is His salvation and forgiveness.
