When Paul wrote to the followers in Galatia, he pointed out that the
Spirit will enable them to resist the desires of their sinful nature.
He knew all too well that the Galatians were attracted to the law
because it gives them specific moral guidelines to measure themselves
against.
When told to "live by the Spirit," it throws everything up in the air.
We don't have that measure of rules anymore.
