URGENT prayer for Kevin

Sent: Tuesday, November 30, 2010 2:38 PM
Subject: URGENT prayer for Kevin

Kevin has had a setback, the neurosurgeon found an aneurysm on his brain and are waiting to see if it's growing or not. If it is, they'll have to do immediate surgery, which they don't want to do because he'd be at great risk for more strokes. We're waiting to hear back from Kevin's parents -- they were a wreck last time.  Let's lift them up in prayer.

Kathy P and Kathy F -  please continue to lift them in prayer.  They believe that they are in God's hands.  They also believe they are already healed.  Let's thank God for healing them, and for the day they will both give their testimonies about their healing journey.

T. and M. - please pray that God soften these young men's hearts to let Him in.  I believe He is working on them.

Lisa passed away last week. She was so peaceful and beautiful the day before God took her home.
Pat and Anna -
also passed away this past week.
Please keep their husbands and children in your thoughts and prayers during this time of grief.
Please keep all these families, friends, and their needs in prayer. God is moving and His promises are "Yes" and "Amen".

Bob and Adriana - they are "downsizing, getting rid of our idols (piano, dinning room, etc.).  I am praying for God to make it clear where he wants us to be and to provide until He provides a job for Bob or SSD. I am grateful that God keeps pulling me closer to His Son, that He has given me a job and we are still under a good roof.  Pray for us, for Bob, to be free of all that separates us from Jesus, to follow Him, surrender to His sovereignty, and make Jesus Christ the Lord of our lives."

From Adriana:  "Thank you for your faithfulness in prayer.  I am doing BSF the new study on the book of Isaiah and the Lord is stirring up my heart and illuminating in me how much I am like Israel, how much our nation is like Israel.  Nothing has changed on the outside yet much is happening with me as I confess to God and cry out for his hand of mercy.  Revival needs to start with me as I pray for revival in our nations."

prayer

Please be in prayer for Sidney, she just had surgery this morning, complete recovery and for Amel, he had a seizure, I'm told today, he has them often, please agree with me that this is the final one, and God will show what is causing them.  In Jesus name, they are healed.

ACTION ON THE WALL TO THE GLORY OF GOD!! LET'S GO!!

Pastor Barbara,

My cousin Tawanda is 29 yrs old, married with one son.  We found out she has breast cancer. I saw her on Thanksgiving and her legs were really big from fluid. I didn't recognize her because her face looked different from the meds and fluid. She was on 90 day temporary disability while taking chemo but now she is back to work. She should not be working with the condition that she is in. Tawanda carries a oxygen tank to help with her breathing because of the fluid. On Thanksgiving my MOM and I anointed her with olive oil and laid hands. We prayed and declared the healing of the Lord. Tawanda was so receptive and the power of God embraced us with a sweet warm presence. Please pass this to the prayer warriors.  Blessings!!

Jewish Calendar
21st of Kislev, 5771

Scriptural Meditation:
Nu:14:8: If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.

De:6:23: And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.

Dearly Beloved Intercessors and Friends:
Another year is ending soon, and preparations are in top gear spiritually and physically to finish AD2010 without reproach, and to enter into AD2011 with abundant grace.  The uncertainty in the world is glaring, but God's word concerning kingdom people is very clear. If the Lord delight in us, he will bring us into AD2011.  And I know that because of his son, he delights in us and will bring us into AD2011 (the land which flows with milk and honey.)

Ro:8:32: He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

2Pe:1:3: According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

All things consist in Christ (yes, all things).  The giving of Christ as the propitiation for our sin, and mediator of a new covenant is an indescribable guarantee that all things has been provided for us.   This is one revelation the church must grasp and move in the miraculous.  The church is asking and begging for miracles – but they have the miracle. Christ is the miracle. We should stop seeing Him as miracle worker, but he is the Miracle.

People of various faith are working hard even as I write this note, to put everything in order to enable them capture AD2011.  Believe me they are preparing, and mapping out strategies.  We must key in to influence AD2011 through adequate preparation for this glorious year.

Jos:4:3: And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.
Jos:4:4: Then Joshua called the twelve men, whom he had prepared of the children of Israel, out of every tribe a man:

I am so excited for you as I write this note, because you are picking up stones of testimony as you cross over into next year. Believe me, you are not moving in empty handed. But this must be preceded by preparation. When it is time for cross over, God is looking for and will only use prepared vessels.  To cross the red sea, the Lord prepared Israel through the Passover service conducted in their various houses.  Anytime, and every time God wants to do a new thing, he uses prepared people.  To kill Goliath, God prepared David through his various fight with bears and lions. To destroy Haman, God had to prepare Esther and the entire Israel in Susan through a three day fast. For world conquest through evangelization, the disciples and apostles were well prepared to usher in a new dispensation. Preparation aid conquest, and conquest will bring dominion.  (to be continued)

Thought for today - 11/29/2010

"It all depends upon what we are praying for.  If we are whimpering, and sniveling, and begging to be spared the discipline of life that is sent to knock some smatterings of manhood into us, the answer to that prayer may never come at all.  Thank God!  Though, indeed, it is not easy to say that, with honesty.  Still, it may never come at all, thank God.  But if you have attained as far as Epictetus -- pagan though you would call him -- whose daily prayer was this: 'O God, give me what Thou desirest for me, for I know that what Thou choosest for me is far better than I could choose;' if you are not bleating to get off, but asking to be given grace and strength to see this through with honor, 'the very day' you pray that prayer, the answer always comes."

prayer 11-28

Kevin Reynolds is still in intensive care but is recovering slowly.  The reality of what's to come is finally setting in for his family and
they are realizing just how much hard work is ahead for Kevin.  The day after surgery, everyone was happy & celebrating but they
now understand what's ahead for all of them.  They are ready for whatever they need to do and are extremely grateful beyond words
for all the prayers said for Kevin.  He did respond to a verbal command for the first time yesterday and his eyes are open and following
people.  He is being weaned off the breathing tube.  The doctors are amazed that he's made it thru surgery and feel that he will continue
to improve.  The extent of the brain damage is still not fully known except that he's paralyzed on the right side of his body.  When he
stronger, they will begin testing other areas of the brain to try to measure the extent of the damage.  Please continue to pray for Kevin
and his family.  God Bless you all for praying for the Reynold's family.

Patricia Soto
passed away on Monday.  Please pray for her husband, and the Brown and Soto families.
She had a tumor removed about a month ago and the doctors said that she had cancer of her lymph nodes.

Anna Lopez - we have been praying for her for a while.  They were hoping for a liver transplant and then she suffered problems with her heart.
The doctors have been amazed at how well she has been doing.
They didn't think she should be alive.  But our God has allowed her more time with her family.
She passed away this week.  It has been a great blessing to have known her, we will miss her.

Uncle Jim who has congestive heart failure. He is all swollen and he really wants to die. His family hates to see him suffering but knows that God must have a plan.
Its hard to lose the ones you love and its hard knowing they are in pain.

Mililtary - All those who are being sent to Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as their families and loved ones.

Sandra and Dan - need discernment about their children's schools.

Shannon - a young lady who just miscarried this week.

Mateo thanking God for his job.  God is good.

D & K - please pray for God's wisdom and guidance about finances and every aspect of their lives.

for our children who don't see the reality of God.

WEEKLY PRAYER FOCUS - 11/28/2010

Truth and Love

Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Jesus is the truth. What is truth? It is what is real, and actual, and good. God alone is always true. He can never tell a lie.

Too often in our lives we believe a lie. We say "I can never be forgiven. No one loves me. There is no hope for me." But God always loves you. He is the truth and you can trust totally in Him.

And coupled with God's truth is His love. God loves you unconditionally. He loves you so much He gave His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for you. And when Jesus says "Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" -- He is telling the truth. God loves you and He will never leave you or forsake you.

So, this week, let us pray and ask God to

  • Help us always tell the truth in His love

  • Protect and care for our friends and relatives

  • Spread His truth and love throughout the whole earth

THANK YOU so much for your prayers. God loves you and as we speak His truth in His love the world can be transformed!.

May God bless you!

God Speaks When We Worship…………..

Worship creates an atmosphere in which God can speak to us. Worship is difficult to define. It is more about who God is rather than what He does for us. True worship comes from deep within us; it is precious and awesome and it is our attempt to verbalize how we feel about God. It is a powerful outpouring of our hearts toward the Lord and it represents a depth of love, gratitude, and devotion that we find difficult to put into words. Human language is not rich enough to describe everything that true worship is. In fact, worship is so personal and intimate that maybe we should not even attempt to limit or define it with words. Worship is much more than just singing songs. It is first and foremost a condition of heart and a state of mind. We can be worshiping passionately without singing a single note. Worship is born in our hearts; it fills our thoughts and then it is expressed through our mouths and through our bodies. If our hearts are filled with awe for God, we may want to sing, dance, clap, or lift up our hands in worship. We may also be reverently silent and still before God. We may desire to give offerings or offer other forms of outward expression of love for God. But any of these actions done without a right heart are simply formalism and meaningless to God. I encourage you to sincerely worship God today. Do it because you love Him, and don't be surprised if He speaks to you while you are worshiping Him. Your vision for the future so that I can move confidently into the abundant life You have for me. Amen

"When Jesus commanded us to love our neighbors as ourselves, it was not just for our neighbors' sakes that he commanded it, but for our own sakes as well.  Not to help find some way to feed the children who are starving to death is to have some precious part of who we are starve to death with them.  Not to give ourselves to the human beings we know who may be starving not for food but for what we have in our hearts to nourish them with this to be, ourselves, diminished and crippled as human beings."

Give thanks to God. In the United States, there is a holiday in November called Thanksgiving. It is a day to give thanks for the many blessings we have received.

For the Christian, every day should be Thanksgiving. We can give thanks to God every day for His many blessings to us.

What are some of the things we can thank God for?

  • For the gift of His Son Jesus Christ

  • For forgiveness for our sins

  • For the gift of eternal life in Jesus

  • For our health

  • For family and friends

  • For food to eat

So, this week, let us pray and

  • Thank God for His many blessings

  • Ask God for His protection over your family

  • Ask God for His protection over your friend's families

We thank God for you. Thank you so much for your prayers. If we can pray for you, just hit "reply" to this email and tell us how we can pray.

"Prayer is the movement of trust, of gratitude, of adoration, or of sorrow, that places us before God, seeing both Him and ourselves in the light of His infinite truth, and moves us to ask Him for the mercy, the spiritual strength, the material help, that we all need.  The man whose prayer is so pure that he never asks God for anything does not know who God is, and does not know who he is himself: for he does not know his own need of God.  All true prayer somehow confesses our absolute dependence on the Lord of life and death.  It is, therefore, a deep and vital contact with Him whom we know not only as Lord but as Father.  It is when we pray truly that we really are. Our being is brought to a high perfection by this."

"The often-heard comment "a face only a mother could love" reflects more fact than cynicism.  God loves you as one who loves his own offspring.  Your face is unique because your DNA is unique.  When you finally meet the One who made you and examine the lifelines he has sent you along the way, you will at last understand how every detail made sense in the swirling reality of life's blessings and threats.  They will speak of God's transcending love for you."
